Dispelling Officiating Rumors

I’ve had several questions get sent to me regarding the officiating schedule for Saturday’s game at Idaho. There is absolutely NO TRUTH to the rumor that the same officiating crew from the Oct. 1 Hawai’i at Louisiana Tech game will also be officiating the Oct. 8 Louisiana Tech at Idaho game.

The officials for this upcoming game at Idaho will also be the same officials for Louisiana Tech’s Nov. 26 game against New Mexico State. LA Tech has not seen this officiating crew this year but has seen them in years past.

In addition, the crew listed below has always been the crew for Saturday’s game. There have been no changes to the officiating schedules that I am aware of.

I do not recall any point where a team has had the same officiating crew for two consecutive games. Maybe it has happened, but not since I have been at Louisiana Tech.

Officials for this weekend’s game at Idaho:
R- Clair Gausman
U- Rico Orsot
L – Tim Schlenvogt
LJ – Lance Thompson
FJ – Richard Ockey
SJ – Jeff Dahle
BJ – David Baldwin

The Case for Houston to the Big 12: Economic Impact (via )

The Case for Houston to the Big 12: Economic Impact With Texas A&M’s official announcement that it is leaving the Big 12, at least one school can expect a call from the conference. This is one of four pieces making the case for University of Houston to receive an invite to the Big 12. The other pieces can be fo … Read More
